मुंबई : पावसाळी कालावधीत मासे व अन्य सागरी जीवांच्या प्रजोत्पादनासाठी पोषक वातावरण असल्याने दि. 1 जून ते 31 जुलै 2019या कालावधीत राज्याच्या सागरी जलधी क्षेत्रात यांत्रिक मासेमारी नौकांसाठी मासेमारी बंदी घोषित करण्यात आली आहे. ही पावसाळी मासेमारी बंदी पारंपरिक पद्धतीने मासेमारी करणाऱ्या बिगर यांत्रिकी नौकांना लागू राहणार नाही, असा आदेश राज्याच्या मत्स्यव्यवसाय आयुक्त कार्यालयाने जारी केला आहे.
जून आणि जुलै महिन्यात सागरी जीवांना प्रजोत्पादनास पोषक वातावरण असते. या कालावधीत मासेमारी बंदीमुळे मासळीच्या बीजनिर्मिती प्रक्रियेला वाव मिळून मत्स्यसाठ्याचे जतन होते. तसेच खराब आणि वादळी हवामानामुळे मच्छीमारांची जीवित व वित्त हानी टाळणे शक्य होते. त्यामुळे सागर किनाऱ्यापासून 12 सागरी मैलापर्यंत या राज्याच्या जलधी क्षेत्रामध्ये यांत्रिक मासेमारी नौकांना मासेमारी बंदी लागू करण्यात आली आहे.
राज्याच्या जलधी क्षेत्राबाहेर खोल समुद्रात मासेमारीसाठी जाणाऱ्या नौकांना केंद्र शासनाच्या खोल समुद्रांतील मासेमारीबाबतचे धोरण लागू राहील. जलधी क्षेत्रामध्ये यांत्रिक नौका पावसाळी मासेमारी बंदी कालावधीमध्ये मासेमारी करताना आढळल्यास महाराष्ट्र सागरी मासेमारी नियमन अधिनियमानुसार गलबत आणि त्यात पकडण्यात आलेली मासळी जप्त करण्यासह कठोर कारवाई करण्यात येईल. बंदी कालावधीमध्ये जलधी क्षेत्रामध्ये यांत्रिक मासेमारी नौकेच्या चलनवलनास पूर्णत: बंदी राहील.
मासेमारी करताना यांत्रिक नौकेस अपघात झाल्यास शासनाकडून देण्यात येणारी नुकसानभरपाई मिळणार नाही. ज्या मच्छीमार सहकारी संस्थांच्या मासेमारी नौका मासेमारी करताना आढळतील, अशा संस्थांनी पुरस्कृत केलेले अर्ज राष्ट्रीय सहकार विकास निगम योजनेच्या लाभासाठी विचारात घेतले जाणार नाहीत, असेही मत्स्यव्यवसाय आयुक्त कार्यालयाने स्पष्ट केले आहे.
